Filter – Options
- Time ranges
- Relative
- 30 Days @ 6 hours granularity
- 7 Days @ 1 hour granularity
- 1 Day @ 15 mins granularity
- 8 hours @ 1min granularity
- 1 hour @ 1 second granularity
- Absolute – Point and click on calendar and type time. Automatic granularity based on range
- On Line chart drag along X axis to zoom, reset to clear
- Option on zoom to change granularity based on time range
- Perfect for drill down into events and areas of interest.
- Granularity limit based on source resolution
- Line charts with time intervals show correlation of KPI (or lack of)
- Time interval selections are inherited by child dashboards or options
- Automatic refresh good for NOC/SOC views
- Time Selection is in local time
