You can execute CLI commands on a managed element (Sensor) using a configuration job. This is useful for executing commands that are not supported in other configuration job steps.
A CLI configuration job simply includes the name of a CLI script. A CLI script is a file that contains the commands to be executed on selected element(s). You can prepare the CLI script yourself or use a previously defined script.
A CLI script should not include any commands that require user interaction or would cause a permanent loss of connectivity with the element. Some examples: the more command would pause and wait for user input; the "quit" command would close the connection to the element.
CLI scripts must be imported into Legacy orchestrator before they can be used in a CLI configuration job. See "Importing a CLI Set".
