Operational Considerations

This section documents the operational considerations
related to Skylight Flex 100.

Access Control List Considerations

The order of operation/matching of ACL rules is based on the order of the ACL configuration; a separate field/configuration to specify priority of the ACL is not supported.

ACLs associated with the port, when requiring modification, will have to be deleted and reconfigured with updated field value.

User Interface-Related Changes

To perform SAT with untagged traffic, the destination port used in the SAT test entry has to be configured as an untagged member of default VLAN 1 in both Skylight Flex 100 units (SAT Initiator & Reflector).

Example:

#configure terminal
#vlan 1
#ports add XL-ethernet 0/4 untagged XL-ethernet 0/4
#end

MIB Changes

The MIB file code/future/mibs/fsmiy1731.mib is updated with new MIB object/entry fsMIY1731MepCsfPropagation in MIB Table fsMIY1731MepTable.

CLI Changes

SLM show command has been updated in release 22.01.1.

  • Release 22.01
show ethernet cfm pro-active slm domain xxx service xxx local-mpid xxx test-type xxx

  • Release 22.01.1
show ethernet cfm proactive slm domain xxx service xxx local-mpid xxx

The no switchport CLI command is removed in the current release.

For consistency, the pro-active CLI command has been changed to proactive as certain commands were using pro-active while other commands were using proactive.

Default Minimum and Maximum Temperature Values

Default Min and Max Temperature values have been updated.

  • Default values of Min Temperature and Max Temperature Threshold are changed as follows:
    Min Temperature = 0C
    Max Temperature = 110C

MIB Changes

Changes in issSwitchMinThresholdTemperature and issSwitchMaxThresholdTemperature.

code/future/mibs/fsiss.mib

CLI Changes

  • Previous:
    set switch temperature {min|max} threshold {<celsius(-15-30)/(35-40)>}

  • Updated:
    set switch temperature {min|max} threshold {<celsius(-15-30)/(35-110)>}

Default Minimum and Maximum Power Supply Values

Default values for Min and Max Power Supply have been updated.

  • Default values of Min Power supply and Max Power supply are changed as follows:
    Min Power Supply = 11v
    Max Power Supply = 13v

MIB Changes

Changes in issSwitchPowerFailure and issSwitchPowerSurge.
code/future/mibs/fsiss.mib

CLI Changes

  • Previous:
    set switch power {min|max} threshold <volts (60-230)>

  • Updated:
    set switch power {min|max} threshold <volts (1-255)>
