Accedian Remote Time Synchronization (ARTS) is an Cisco Provider Connectivity Assurance (formerly Accedian) proprietary protocol that provides the capability to synchronize a remote network element (next generation device) with the local clock of a Cisco Provider Connectivity Assurance Sensor Control system.
▶ To set ARTS
Access the page System ▶ Configuration ▶ Time ▶ ARTS.
Select the Enable option.
Click Apply.
Note: ARTS settings can be edited from the Clock List by selecting a Clock name.
ARTS Parameters (System ▶ Configuration ▶ Time ▶ ARTS)
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Enable | Enable/Disable ARTS |
Inbound criterion | Threshold required to declare the device synchronized (100.000 msec). |
Inbound status | Error that is calculated based on the communication between Sensor Control and the synchronized module (in msec). |
Synchronization status | Synchronized: The Inbound status is below the Inbound criterion. Not synchronized: The Inbound status is over the Inbound criterion. |
