Resyncing Devices and Skylight orchestrator
Skylight orchestrator displays information about managed devices. It gets the information about the devices from its data store. The information in the data store must be resynchronized periodically with the devices themselves.
The Skylight orchestrator data store is automatically synchronized with devices (in groups of 100 to 200) every 15 minutes. The automatic resync mechanism ensures that all managed devices are resynced at least once every 24 hours.
Skylight orchestrator gives priority to managed devices that have recently reported a configuration change. As part of its keep-alive messaging to managed devices, Skylight orchestrator verifies the configuration change counter and places devices that have an updated change counter in the priority queue.
You can also resync managed devices manually.
