The Management System enables users to view performance and usage statistics for the following:

  • Data plane traffic
  • Control plane traffic
  • Network interface status
  • System resources such as disk, CPU and memory usage.

Network Status

Data Plane Traffic

To view network throughput, from Platform menu, go to Server Throughput. This page shows the uplink and downlink throughput for the Layer 2 and Layer 4. In addition, network throughput can be viewed per Traffic Processor.

All-in-one System Status

If a Traffic Processor is installed on the same server as the Management System, the Traffic Processor needs to have its own set of CPU cores reserved and often utilizes most of the CPU cores at 100% utilization by design. Therefore, the CPU usage won’t be displayed there.

On this Management System Performance and Usage page, the users can download the system access report which records activities on the Management System Web UI from all users who have the same roles as the logged-in user or lower level roles.
