Colors - What are they?

• Colors are used in dashboards for alignment of data:
• None – Series colors are cycled in sequence from the color palette on a per chart basis
• Metric – The same color is used for additional occurrences of that metric
• Category – The same color is used for additional occurrences of that category
• Colors can also be defined for bin display, color palette or numeric
• Theme color is definable which sets the highlight on the platform.
• Two modes of the UI are selectable – Light and Dark mode

Color Palette - Options

• Colors can be defined visually
• Drag the dot in the box for fine color selection
• Drag the middle slider for corse color selection and right slider for opacity
• Colors can be defined by absolute reference
• HEXA – Hexadecimal – RRGGBBAA AA=Alpha (opacity – Solid > see thru)
• RGBA – Red, Green, Blue & Alpha
• HSVA – Hue (Color), Saturation, Value (Brightness), Alpha
• You can type/paste your favorite color into the box for speed and consistency
• Accedian gold is #F59D15 or rgba(245,157,21,1)
