The Deployment Administration UI (also referred to as the Platform Administrator UI) is a dedicated interface for managing the Cisco Provider Connectivity Assurance on-premise solution. This interface is separate from the Tenant UI and is designed specifically for administrators to oversee platform health, manage resources, and view system metrics. It is your central hub for ensuring the stability of your Cisco Provider Connectivity Assurance deployment.

Accessing the Platform

To manage your deployment, navigate to the Platform Administration Interface. This section is restricted to users with administrative privileges to ensure the security and integrity of the platform configuration.


To access the Interface:

  1. Access the Platform Administration UI by entering your deployment's administrative URL in a web browser. This typically follows the pattern of your tenant deployment but is hosted on a specific management port (e.g., https://<IP-Address>:30000).

  2. Enter your administrative email and password.

Capabilities

Once logged in, the sidebar provides access to the following key management areas:

  • Platform Health

  • Grafana Data Export

  • Feature Flags

  • Resources and Infrastructure

This next section will help you understand these core capabilities and when to use them.

Platform Health

This provides a KPI-driven overview of the system. You can monitor the status of core services, data ingestion flows, and query processing. Any system faults or warnings will be highlighted here for rapid troubleshooting.

Grafana Data Export

The platform integrates with Grafana for deep-dive metrics.
Use this section to:

  • Select specific Grafana dashboards.

  • Define time periods for data analysis.

  • Export metrics for external reporting.

Feature Flags

Administrators can enable or disable specific platform capabilities via Feature Flags to control functionality rollouts within the environment.

Resources and Infrastructure

The Resources section provides direct links to the underlying infrastructure and monitoring tools that power the platform, including:

  • Airflow: For workflow orchestration.

  • CouchDB and Druid: For data management and querying.

  • Prometheus: For system monitoring.
