The executive summary

The team has been busy preparing some relatively large features that are coming out soon, but we couldn't wait any longer to give you something new to chew on. We've included a number of bug fixes, optimizations and feature requests in this release that we hope you find useful.

Feature Highlights

Logical Event Map Metadata Filtering

Our logical event map is a powerful correlation feature that can help you find problem spots in your network by comparing events from all of the monitored objects that share the same metadata values, however it can lose some relevance with very large object sets. We've added the ability to filter the object set used for this correlation (i.e. only use peer objects that share same source and end points).

Support for exclusion metadata filters

Sometimes you would rather exclude one or two metadata values from an object set rather than include all of the other values in a category. We now support inclusion and exclusion metadata filters when trying to filtering a monitored object list or limiting scope in a dashboard.

Interval comparison report

How confident are you that a firmware upgrade didn’t affect network performance? Our interval comparison report will tell you! For the same set of objects, DataHUB will compare before / after metrics, giving you a roll-up of the delta.

Copy dashboard cards

If you've went to the trouble of selecting the right metrics, setting up bins with the perfect colour pallet, and choosing the relevant metadata filter, you probably don't want to repeat that for every region/COS/<insert metadata slice here>. Now you don't have to, simply make a copy.
