Account Management Overview

Accounts

Cisco Provider Connectivity Assurance admins will see the following two modules on their application navigation bar:

• Accounts
• Settings

From the Accounts module, an admin can manage both user accounts and user groups. For detailed information on these areas, please check out their specific help pages:

• User Management
• User Group Management

Searching and Filtering for Users

Server-side searching and filtering for users will help users access and manage large numbers of users and user groups, with:

• Pagination
• Search and Filter

Note: This search is case insensitive.

Primer on Inheritance and Permissions

User group interactions and permissions to note are:

• Users can optionally belong to multiple user groups
• Resources access rights (like dashboard sharing) are associated to user groups
• Data access permissions can be associated with user groups to control what users see through Cisco Provider Connectivity Assurance
• User permissions stack when they belong to multiple user groups
