Dashboard Text Widget

Overview

Use the Text widget to help improve clarity and prodivde valuable context for monitoring and analysis workflows. The Text widget enables you to add explanatory text, labels, images, and links to a dashboard. Customize the widget by using the available formatting options.

Notes:

• Using images affects loading time.
• You can cut-and-paste fonts from the embedded text into the edit window. For example, take your favorite editor and use Wingdings to create ticks and crosses.

Authoring Options

The following options are available for the Text widget:

• B: to bold text
• I: to italicize text
• : The largest heading
• : The second largest heading
• : The second smallest heading
• : The smallest heading
• ¶: Paragraph
• ↧: Rotate right angle
• ↥: Rotate reflex angle
• ↦: Rotate zero angle
• 🔗: Create and insert a link
