Starting the Software

This article explains how to start Legacy Orchestrator software.

Procedure Requirements

A. This procedure must be executed from the console of the Legacy Orchestrator appliance.

B. This procedure must be executed as the skylight user. To execute this procedure, you must know the account’s credentials.

CAUTION: There is a known incompatibility between Docker 29.2.0 and the redundancy feature. Before starting the software in a standalone (non-HA) environment, it is mandatory to follow the instructions outlined in use case #1 Docker 29.2.0 and Hot Standby Redundancy Feature Incompatibility: Use Cases. Failure to adhere to these instructions will prevent successful Legacy Orchestrator services startup

Procedure Steps

  1. Open an SSH terminal session to the Legacy Orchestrator CLI on port 2200.

  2. Log in as the skylight user.

  3. Enter the following command:

services start

The application server for the Legacy Orchestrator application starts up again.
