Accedian is pleased to announce the 23.09.1 GA release of Skylight Flex 100. This software runs on the 100G platform.

New Features
Skylight Flex 100 release 23.09.1 introduces the following new features and enhancements.
NETCONF Database Unification
Skylight Flex NETCONF functionality with database unification is introduced. Management interface configurations (CLI and SNMP) can be accessed via NETCONF and vice-versa.

Operational Considerations
This section documents the operational considerations related to Skylight Flex 100 release 23.09.1.
Access Control List Considerations
The order of operation/matching of ACL rules is based on the order of the ACL configuration; a separate field/configuration to specify priority of the ACL is not supported.
ACLs associated with the port, when requiring modification, will have to be deleted and reconfigured with updated field value.
Addressed Issues
This section lists issues corrected in Skylight Flex 100 release 23.09.1.
Unable to generate tech-support file in Skylight Flex 22.01.5.
This issue has been fixed.
PM telemetry reporting timestamps are not aligned with the platform’s system time
It is aligned once at startup and time is drifting overtime.
This issue has been fixed.
[NETCONF and YANG Limitation] Information is incorrectly displayed in octet string
This issue is presently system-wide on all netconf-yang elements displayed as a string.
This issue has been fixed.
[NETCONF and YANG Limitation] Telemetry element is not shown configured as expected
This issue has been fixed.
SSH Cypher, MAC, Key Exchange are not aligned between port 22 and 830
This issue has been fixed.
The system time and the hardware time is not synchronized
There is a discrepancy between the current time on the telemetry and the system time displayed on the show clock command.
This issue has been fixed.
[MEF-10.3] Policy-map configuration unexpectedly changes following a firmware upgrade
As a result, the QoS feature is not functioning as intended.
This issue has been fixed.
Note: Once the upgrade process from a previous release to 23.09.1 is complete, immediately execute the command write startup config followed by reload. This is necessary to update the QoS configuration to the new structure.
Remote MEP status is shown as 'Up' while no valid CCM has been received
The xConnect fault appears to report correctly and the MAC address of the remote MEP is not populated as expected.
This issue has been fixed.
Loopback ping is not working after MSR over Y.1731 LAG
‘Provided MEP does not exist’ error message is displayed.
This issue has been fixed.
[LLDP] System Name TLV is unable to be saved or restored
This issue has been fixed.
[LLDP] CLI command shutdown removes all configurations on the LLDP module and releases all memory that has been allocated for the LLDP module
For this reason, when restarting (executing no shutdown command), the mandatory Management Address TLV gets removed.
This issue has been fixed.
[LLDP] Management Address TLV for In-Band address is appearing on all ports instead of the intended port
This issue occurs when the no shutdown command is executed before IP address configuration is complete.
This issue has been fixed.
After executing shutdown or no shutdown command on ports with SR4 transceivers, there is a delay before the protocol changes status or may become stuck in the wrong status
Skylight orchestrator will report inaccurate port protocol status as a result.
This issue has been fixed.
When using the tool yangdump, certain YANG files returned errors after correctness validation
This issue has been fixed.
[NETCONF Limitation] The NETCONF operation GET is only returning the device state information but not the running configuration data
This issue has been fixed.
[NETCONF Limitation] NETCONF command get-config is returning a void output; not matching the running configuration on Skylight Flex
This issue has been fixed.
