Overview

Administrators can configure general settings to customize elements of Cisco Provider Connectivity Assurance (formerly Skylight performance analytics), including logo and theme color, granularity, units, language and tenant timezone.

To configure general display settings for Provider Connectivity Assurance:

Display Settings Affect All Users

Changes to the display settings affect all users in your organization. Ensure compliance with your organizational policies.

  1. Go to Settings > General > Display.
  2. Configure the parameters.
    Refer to the following sections for more information.

Theme

  • Favicon: Recommended size: 32 x 32 px.
  • Logo: Image to display on the top of the left sidebar. Recommended size: 32 x 32 px.
  • Highlight color: Color to use for icons and highlights.

Landing Page

  • Login logo: Minimum size: 64 x 64 px.
  • Login background: Minimum size: 1280 x 720 px.

Granularity

Maximum data granularity: Select the maximum data granularity to use for viewing metrics. Choose from PT1S, PT30S, PT1M, and PT5M (point every n minutes or seconds).

The granularity refers to the maximum precision up to which you can visualize your data points, provided that they are ingested at the selected granularity.


Data

Enable data cleaning by default: Toggle to enable or disable data cleaning by default.


Units

  • Data unit: Unit to use for data metric values, such as Installed Memory and Memory Utilization. (Bit, Byte).
    • Bit - Shows data metric values as Kb, Mb, Gb.
    • Byte - Shows data metric values as KB, MB, GB.
  • Data rate unit: Unit to use for rate-based data (bitsPerSecond, bytesPerSecond).
  • Base time unit: Unit to use for time measurements (Millisecond, Microsecond).

Default Language

Select the language to use for fields and parameters.

Note: Text that are entered by the user and metric names are not translated. More languages may be added in upcoming releases.


Tenant Timezone

Select the global timezone setting for all users. Using the tenant timezone gives all users a consistent view of data.

Note: If a user selects a different time zone in the User menu. The user-selected time zone overrides the tenant timezone. Dashboard graphs, alerts, and reports will display in the user-selected time zone for that user.
