Setting Up a TWAMP Reflector Configuration Job
You can use the TWAMP Reflector configuration step to define a configuration job that does one of the following tasks:
- Configure a Skylight element to act as a TWAMP reflector
- Configure Skylight sensor: module or Skylight sensor: SFP compute modules (remote devices of a Skylight sensor: control) to act as TWAMP reflectors.
To set up a TWAMP Reflector configuration job
Access the page Commission ▶ Jobs.
Set all common configuration job settings, as described in "Creating Configuration Jobs in GUI Mode" and "Creating Configuration Jobs Using Data Sets". If you check ME reference data set enabled checkbox, see the table TWAMP Reflector tab - Dataset section below for information about the fields.
Select TWAMP Reflector in the left pane. The TWAMP Reflector tab is displayed.
Complete the fields as explained in the table below.
If the element you are configuring is a sensor: control, you can add rows to set up more of its Skylight sensor: modules as TWAMP reflectors, click the Add button, or select a row in the table and click the Duplicate button. Complete the fields as required.
Click Apply, then click Close.
Click the Refresh button to refresh the user interface.
TWAMP Reflector tab (Commission ▶ Configuration Jobs)
General
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Enable | Enables or disables reflection on the element (being configured) on the UDP port specified. |
UDP port | Specifies the UDP port to use for reflection. Range: 600 to 65,535 Default value: 6,000 |
IP match | Should always be enabled. When IP match is enabled, the TWAMP reflector only reflects packets sent to its IP address and UDP port. |
Segmented | Should always be disabled. If disabled, the TWAMP packets will be not be forwarded beyond the reflector (the end of the first segment). |
Mode | Possible values:

Session ID | TWAMP stateful session number (1 to 16). |
Filter Type | Select a filter type from the drop-down list, either IPv4 or IPv6. |
Filter Name | Unique name used to identify the filter. |
