Setting Up a DMM Configuration Job

Delay Measurement Messages (DMM) are used to measure network delay and network delay variation. DMM measurements are part of the Service OAM functionality supported by Legacy orchestrator. You can enable DMM delay measurements on a Provider Connectivity Assurance Sensor Control or a Provider Connectivity Assurance Sensor using a configuration job.

To set up a DMM Reflector configuration job

  1. Access the page Commission ▶ Jobs.

  2. Set all common configuration job settings, as described in "Creating Configuration Jobs in GUI Mode" and in "Creating Configuration Jobs Using Data Sets".

  3. Select DMM Reflector in the left pane. The DMM Reflector tab is displayed.

  1. Complete all fields in the DMM Reflector tab as required. For more information on specific parameters, see the table below.

  2. Click Apply, then click Close.

  3. Click the Refresh Button_Refresh_Generic.png button to refresh the user interface.
