Overview
Accedian is pleased to announce 21.12 (21.12.19-r1) of Skylight sensor capture. This is the first release of the new capture orchestration module within Skylight analytics.
Headline Features
21.12 brings a completely new module within Skylight analytics to cater for configuration management and operation of our capture sensors. The feature set can be divided into four categories:
- Capture sensor management
- Individual parameter configuration for capture sensors as well as profiles for common settings
- Applications
- Definition editor for the parsed applications, allowing import/export of application settings
- Zones
- Definitions of capture sensor rules
- PCAP
- Calendar-based scheduling of packet capture tasks as well as browser for generated PCAP files
Additional Features
On top of the new GUI module for controlling the sensor captures, the 21.12 also bring full API support for all configuration tasks including sensor management, profiles, applications, zones and PCAP scheduling.
Application and Zone configuration supports bulk import and export in JSON format as well as import in CSV format for compatibility with previous "Nevrax" CSV files.
Versions and Upgrading
This release has version number 21.12.19-r1
Upgrading from previous sensor capture releases is supported back to 19.11.xx.
Upgrades from versions older than 19.11.xx will fail.
Notable Feature Deprecations
The following features will no longer be available once your system is upgraded to analytics 21.12.

Corrected Issues
None. There are no corrected issues in this first release of capture sensor + orchestration.

| User interface | Sorting on status for PCAP schedules does not sort in order of time created | Use search function to find the PCAP instead of column header sort |
| User interface | Changing sensor host name is not reflected immediately in the table view | Wait 30 seconds after changing the host name and saving the change, use the refresh button |
