Running a Configuration Flow Executor

Article summary

After you have created a flow executor, you or another operator can run it and view its status, as explained in this section.
You can also schedule a configuration flow to be executed at a specific time or according to a schedule, in the same way as you can schedule a configuration job. See "Scheduling Configuration Jobs and Flows" for details.

To start a configuration flow executor that is already open

  1. Select the Execution status tab.

  2. Click the Start executor button.

  3. Click the Refresh status REFRESH BUTTON.png button (at the bottom right of the page) to refresh the user interface.

To start a configuration flow executor from the Configuration flow executor list

  1. Access the Commission ▶ Flow Executors page.

  2. Select the configuration flow executor that you want to run.

  3. Click the Start START BUTTON.png button (above the list).

  4. Click the Refresh REFRESH BUTTON.png button (at the bottom right of the page) to refresh the user interface.

Viewing the Status of a Configuration Flow

To check the status of a configuration flow executor

  1. Access the Commission ▶ Flow executors page.

  2. Double-click the name of the configuration flow executor that you are currently running or that of an executor that has completed its run.
    The dialog is displayed. If the executor is running or is finished, the
    Execution status tab is displayed.

  3. To view a detailed execution log for a particular configuration job, select the job (in the list on the right). The execution log is displayed in the left pane.

Stopping a Flow Executor

To stop a job that is currently running

  1. Access the page Commission ▶ Flow Executors.

  2. Select the executor that you want to stop in the list of executors.

  3. Click the Stop STOP BUTTON.png button.

  4. Click the Refresh REFRESH BUTTON.png button to refresh the user interface.

Deleting a Flow Executor

To delete a configuration flow executor

  1. Access the page Commission ▶ Flow Executors.

  2. Select one or more Flow Executors that you want to delete in the list.

  3. Click the Remove flow executor button.

  4. In the confirmation window, click OK to confirm deletion of the executor.
