Rolling Back Firmware on Devices

When you upgrade the firmware of a device, the previous version of the firmware (the rollback version) is automatically saved and is available for installation if necessary.


CAUTION: Performing a firmware rollback requires a reboot of the device. Rebooting momentarily interrupts traffic and operation.

To roll back to the previous firmware version

  1. Access the Devices ▶ Firmware page.

  2. In the left pane, select the device name for which you wish to perform the firmware rollback.

  3. Click the Rollback firmware Button_Rollback_Firmware.png button.

  4. In the confirmation dialog, click OK to confirm and apply.
    A message indicating that the firmware rollback was launched successfully is displayed.

  5. Click OK.
