You must ensure you have the following items before starting the procedure. If you are missing anything, contact Accedian Technical Support.
Note: Users may be required to change their password on first login after the system rehoming. This applies to web-service accounts, as well as Graphical User Interface (GUI) accounts. For more information on changing passwords, see the Skylight orchestrator Administrative Operations.
A. SSH client (such as PuTTY)
B. SCP client (such as WinSCP)
C. Username and password for the visionems account for all appliances running Skylight Director / orchestrator software.
D. If running in a hot standby configuration, the hot standby setup of your target installation must be up and running before performing the rehoming procedure.
E. Please refer to Administrative Operations for guidelines on preparing your target installation for hot standby functionality. This must be done prior to beginning the rehoming process.
F. Feature keys required for your software.
Note: Skylight orchestrator 20.05 uses feature keys to enable certain menus and features. If you do not obtain and install the new keys (as explained later in this section), you will not have access to the new features available in Skylight orchestrator 20.05.
