Software Configuration

To access and use the Software page a user with the superadmin role is required. The Software page provides a view of the software and configuration archives within the management system and enables the upload of new archives. To access this page, start at the Platform menu, expand the Servers section, and select Software in the sidebar.

The Software Information section displays the available software versions after you select the desired instance type from the tabs at the top of the page. To upload new software versions:

1. Select Select file in the Upload New Software section.
2. Choose the software version file you want to upload from your local file system.
3. Once the selected file name appears next to Select file, select Upload Software, which will become active (blue).

After the software uploads and appears in the list, you can deploy it using the Deploy Software or remove it using the Delete Software.

Below the Software Information and Upload new Software sections, the current configuration settings for the selected software are displayed in raw format.

Configuration View

You can download and upload configurations for the currently selected group. To download the current software configuration, select Download “selected_group_name” Configuration in the Download Configuration section.

To upload and set a new configuration:

1. Select Select file in the Upload New Configuration section.
2. Select the configuration file you want to upload to the current group from your local file system.
3. Once the selected file name appears next to Select file , select Upload Configuration to “selected_group_name” , which will become active (blue).
