Importing and Editing Datasets

If you want to perform a configuration job in dataset mode, dataset files must be imported into Legacy orchestrator. After a dataset has been imported, you can edit it directly in Legacy orchestrator.


Note: When you import a dataset, you must be sure to select the appropriate type of dataset from the drop-down list. For more information about the types of datasets, see "About Datasets"

To import a dataset

  1. Access the page Commission ▶ Data Sets.

  2. Click the Add Dataset Profile button PLUS BUTTON.png to add a new dataset.
    The Data set import dialog is displayed.

  3. Click the Choose file button.

  4. Select the dataset file to load. It must be a CSV file in the appropriate dataset format.

  5. Select the dataset Type from the drop-down list.


Note: The type defines the acceptance criteria for the dataset that you want to import.

  1. Enter a Name and Description for the dataset.

  2. Click the Import data set button.
    The dataset contents are displayed in the dialog.

  3. Close the dialog.
    The dataset you just imported is displayed in the list of datasets.

Datasets (Commission ▶ Datasets)

ParameterDescription
NameThe name of the dataset.
DescriptionThe description of the dataset.
Datset/ TypeThe type of dataset (such as a firmware upgrade dataset).
CSVThe path of the dataset CSV file to import.

To edit a dataset

  1. Access the page Commission ▶ Data Sets.
    A list of the datasets currently defined is displayed.

  2. Double-click a set to edit its details.
    The Data set viewer dialog is displayed, enabling you to view the dataset steps.

  3. Double-click in a row to edit the values for an existing NEID.

  4. To add a row, click the PLUS BUTTON.png button and enter values in the fields.

  5. Click the Save button.

  6. Close the dialog.
