Configuring the SFTP Port Number

These CLI configuration steps configure the SFTP port number.

  1. Enter Global configuration mode.
    your product# configure terminal

  2. Configure the SFTP port number. The administrator can give numerical values from 1025 to 65535 for the SFTP port number.
    your product(config)# sftp port 2000

  3. Exit the Global Configuration mode.
    your product(config)# end

  4. View the configuration of the SFTP port number.
    your product# show sftp port
    SFTP destination port number: 2000
    your product#

Reseting the SFTP Port Number

These CLI configuration steps reset the SFTP port number.

  1. Enter Global configuration mode.
    your product# configure terminal

  2. Reset the SFTP port number. The SFTP port number will be reset to the default or standard SSH port number 22.
    your product(config)# no sftp port

  3. Exit the Global Configuration mode.
    your product(config)# end

  4. View the configuration of the SFTP port number
    your product# show sftp port
    SFTP destination port number: 22
    your product#
