The following are Maintenance Intermediate Point Half Function (MHF) features:
- Validates the received PDUs;
- Validates the received CCM PDUs, and builds the MIP CCM Database;
- Responds to LBM PDUs with LBR PDUs;
- Responds to LTM PDUs by forwarding them and responding with LTR PDUs.
