Upgrading the module's Firmware

  • PDF

Article summary

New firmware versions typically provide new and/or enhanced features, as well as defect corrections. It is recommended to only perform firmware updates in accordance with instructions per Technical Support.

To verify the current firmware version running on the (active) connected module, refer to the Current Version field of the Device Firmware Maintenance section of the Remote Device ▶ Firmware page.

Note: Status LEDs (presence indicators) are provided at the top of all pages of the Module Dock's Web interface. The LED associated with any connected device is always lit green, whether it is active or not.

You can upgrade the firmware used by the (active) connected Module by downloading the firmware file directly from your computer.

▶ To upgrade the module's firmware

  1. Access the page Remote Device ▶ Firmware.

  2. Click the Upgrade button located at the bottom of the page.
Once the firmware has been loaded, the device will restart in order to activate the new firmware. The restart requires at least 30 seconds to complete.
