Unified interface for programatic sensor and session management!

Overview

The Skylight portfolio is comprised of many different types of sensors that provide network performance visibility. In order to manage these sensors (and their test sessions) in a unified way, the Skylight gateway service can be utilized to expose a RESTConf interface.

The RESTConf interface operates based on our published YANG models. These YANG models are available for viewing on the following public github repository:
https://github.com/Accedian/skylight-yang

Two modes of operation are available:

  1. Skylight gateway - used for our intent based service assurance use cases
  2. NSO gateway - used primarily as a RESTConf to REST passthrough interface
