Selecting Managed Elements

The Inventory page enables you to select the elements and their managed objects.

Some general points to be aware of:

• If you do not select any managed elements before selecting a type of managed object, all objects of the selected type for all elements will be displayed.
• Typically, you would select one or more managed elements before selecting a type of managed object to display. This allows you to focus on the managed elements that you want to view and to reduce the quantity of managed objects that will be displayed.

This section includes basic procedures for selecting and searching for managed elements.

To select all elements in a page

1. Access the Inventory page.

2. Click >.
   The Managed element filter group displays.

3. Click the button.

4. In the Select managed elements dialog that displays, do one of the following:
