Enabling LLC Encapsulation on Interface

CLI Configurations

To enable LLC encapsulation on a port

  1. Enter into the global configuration mode.
    your product# configure terminal

  2. Enter into the interface configuration mode.
    your product(config)# interface gigabitethernet 0/10

  3. Enable the LLC encapsulation on the port.
    your product(config-if)# ethernet cfm llc-encap enable

  4. Return to the global configuration mode.
    your product(config-if)# exit

To disable LLC encapsulation

  1. Enter into the interface configuration mode and disable the ECFM.
    your product(config-if)# ethernet cfm llc-encap disable

SNMP Configurations

  1. Enable the LLC encapsulation on a port. [Index: Interface Number = 1]
    % snmp0 set {{fsMIEcfmPortLLCEncapStatus.1 true }}

  2. Disable the LLC encapsulation on a port. [Index: Interface Number = 1]
    % snmp0 set {{fsMIEcfmPortLLCEncapStatus.1 false }}
