Article Summary

Overview

When you are in an alert-based analysis, you can drill down on an alert to gain more information such as why violations were raised and which metrics are associated with the alert.

To drill down on an alert, you must:

  • have an alert policy as a filter
  • enable See individual alerts

Drilling down on an alert will update the analysis template and replace the current interval with a temporary alert interval. The template is based on the metric that the alert policy is configured for.
If an alert hasn’t been cleared, then current interval's end will be used.

Note: If there are no cleared alerts to drill down on, the table will be sorted by raised alerts.

Additionally, drilling down on an alert will include the monitored object, application, or zone ID in the filter bar for the selected row.
