Overview
The Analysis List provides navigation and general management of the analyses owned by, or shared with, a user.
Navigation
Analyses are organized in a similar fashion to Dashboards, with recently used analyses at the top of the list, analyses with shared themes grouped into collapsible categories, and the ability to search by analysis name.
If a user owns an Analysis or is granted Manager permissions, then analyses may also be moved between categories from the list.
Tenant administrators may also rename categories within the list.
Clone, Export and Delete
Each Analysis in the list can be cloned, exported or deleted assuming the user has sufficient privileges to that Analysis.
Note: Export/Import is typically used to transfer Accedian curated Analyses from staging to production deployments.
Create and Import
Users with sufficient permissions can create a new Analysis. When creating an Analysis, be aware that analyses limit data selection according to analysis data types so as to form relevant associations between metrics and categories and provide required categories.
At the moment, there are six available types:
- Assets (also requires selection of a specific Asset type)
- Capture
- Session
- Alerts – Capture – Application: Application-based Capture Alerts
- Alerts – Capture – Zone: Zone-based Capture Alerts
- Alerts – Session: Session-based Alerts
Note: Rather than create an Analysis from scratch, an Analysis may be Imported from a previously Exported Analysis. When importing an Analysis, the model will be validated against available metrics and categories and must be clean before the import can successfully complete.
