configuration cancel

configuration cancel - Revert the rollback or factory default request

Description:
The configuration cancel command allows you to cancel the latest request to roll back or to reset the current configuration to factory defaults.

Syntax:

  configuration cancel

configuration changes

configuration changes - Display amount of configuration changes

Description:
The configuration changes command allows you to see the number of configuration changes that took place since the system is up.

Syntax:

  configuration changes

configuration export

configuration export - Export unit configuration

Description:
The configuration command allows you to export the existing unit configuration to a file. This command also allows exporting from the screen. Typing "configuration export" without any parameters will dump the configuration file to the stdout. When the keyword "remote-device" is specified, the command allows you to export the configuration of a remote-device to a designated repository. See the help text of this command for more details.

Syntax:

  configuration {export}
                [{ ftp | ftps |
                   scp | sftp | tftp }://[<user-name>@]<url>]

Examples:

configuration export ftp://username@mypc.com/newconfig.cfg
configuration export ftps://username@mypc.com:990/newconfig.cfg
configuration export sftp://username@mypc.com:22/newconfig.cfg
configuration export scp://username@mypc.com:22/newconfig.cfg

Parameters:

Parameter Description
<user-name> <string>
<url> <string> The URL host subcomponent consists of a name or an IP address. IPv4 addresses must be in dot-decimal notation, and IPv6 addresses must be enclosed in brackets ([]).

configuration export remote-device

configuration export remote-device - Export the configuration of a remote device to a designated repository.

Description:
Export the configuration of a remote-device to a designated repository.

Syntax:

  configuration export remote-device <NAME> <URL>

Parameters:

Parameter Description
<NAME> Name of the remote device to export.
<URL> URL for the designated repository for the exported configuration, ftp:// | ftps:// | scp:// | sftp:// | tftp://

configuration import

configuration import - Import system configuration

Description:
The configuration import command allows to import a configuration file that was previously exported from the same type of unit. When the keyword "remote-device" is specified, the command allows you to import the configuration of a remote-device to a designated repository. See the help text of this command for more details.

Syntax:

  configuration import
                {http | tftp | ftp | sftp}://[<user-name>@]<url>

Examples:

configuration import http://mypc.com/newconfig.cfg
configuration import ftp://username:password@mypc.com/newconfig.cfg

<password> <string>

configuration import remote-device

configuration import remote-device - Import the configuration of a remote device from a specified repository.

Description:
Import the configuration of a remote-device from a specified repository. This command also includes the following sub-commands:

  • configuration import remote-device cancel - Cancel the import request for the specified device.
  • configuration import remote-device cancel-all - Cancel all in-progress and pending import requests.
  • configuration import remote-device show - Show the current status of pending and in-progress import requests.
  • configuration import remote-device clear - Clear the completed import request.
  • configuration import remote-device clear-all - Clear all the completed import requests.

See the help texts for the associated sub-commands for more details.

  configuration import remote-device {
                              {url <URL>} |
                              {offline {yes | no}} }+

configuration import remote-device cancel

configuration import remote-device cancel - Cancel the import request for the specified device.

Description:
Cancel the import request for the specified device, whether the request is pending or in-progress.

Syntax:

  configuration import remote-device cancel <URL>

Parameters:

Parameter Description
<URL> URL of the previous import request which is to be cancelled.

configuration import remote-device cancel-all

configuration import remote-device cancel-all - Cancel all in-progress and pending import requests.

Description:
Cancel all in-progress and pending import requests.

Syntax:

  configuration import remote-device cancel-all

configuration import remote-device clear

configuration import remote-device clear - Clear the completed import request.

Description:
Clear the completed import request.

Syntax:

  configuration import remote-device clear <URL>

Parameters:

Parameter Description
<URL> URL of the completed import request which is to be cleared.

configuration import remote-device clear-all

configuration import remote-device clear-all - Clear all the completed import request

Description:
Clear all the completed import request.

Syntax:

  configuration import remote-device clear-all

configuration import remote-device show

configuration import remote-device show - Show the current status of pending and in-progress import requests.

Description:
Show the current status of pending and in-progress import requests. Without a specified remote device's name, the command lists all pending, in-progress, and completed import requests and their respective status. If a remote device's name is provided, the command shows the status of the import request for that specific remote device. If the JSON keyword is specified, the output is in JSON format.

Syntax:

  configuration import remote-device show [ json | [ <URL> [json] ] ]

Parameters:

Parameter Description
<URL> URL of the import request whose status is being queried.
json Output is in JSON format.

configuration reset

configuration reset - Reset configuration to factory defaults

Description:
The configuration reset command allows you to reset your current configuration to the factory default settings.

Syntax:

  configuration reset [ force ]

Parameters:

Parameter Description
Force Used to prevent confirmation prompts.

configuration rollback

configuration rollback- Reset Configuration to previous state

Description:
The configuration rollback command allows you to reset your current configuration to the same state as the last time it was booted.

Syntax:

  configuration rollback [ force ]

Parameter Description
Force Used to prevent confirmation prompts.
