  • A Geo widget dashboard component that can display geographically clustered KPI data visualized and linked using either color-coded bins or 3D bars

Runtime Options

  • Click on expand (> in right hand side of window) to TopN/drill down
  • Roller to zoom in and out
  • Select and drag to move around map
  • Shift and mouse to create selection window for zoom (Drag box zoom)
  • Left double click mouse to zoom in on area, roller to zoom out
  • Hover to Export groupBy object (impacted by zoom window; exports what is visible at the time)

Geo Widget Controls

You can use these controls with the Geo widget: Search, Reset, and More Options

Search
Searching enables you to filter specific points to display on the map. You can search by location or by source to destination.

  • To search by location, type a search term associated with the location and then press Enter.
    Tip: Repeat this step if you want to search multiple locations.

  • To search by source to destination, use a colon between search terms. You must choose to display Links from the More Options menu to use this feature.
    Tip: Toggle on Table from the More Options menu to see linked locations.

Reset
After you pan or zoom around the map, you can click the Reset button Reset to return to your original bounds.

More Options
Click the More Options menu Reset to show available options:

  • Source: Select to show only source locations.
  • Destination: Select to show only destination locations.
  • Links: Select to show source and destination points linked by a line.
  • Table: Toggle on to display a list of locations and their individual measurements. You can select table rows and view the selections in Inventory ► Sessions or use the selections as a filter.

  • Geo filter: Toggle on to filter table data according to the location points displayed on the map.
  • Export: Click to export data as a CSV file.

  • Really useful to show where the TopN measures are – Targeted
    investigations
  • Simple TopN location or bins or groups of measures. Post aggregate is
    distribution of measures beyond a threshold
  • Drill down on TopN
  • Geo boxes can link to other dashboards and support filters
