Overview
Cisco Provider Connectivity Assurance (formerly Skylight performance analytics) provides administrators analysis management options via the Analysis management page including:
- View analysis properties
- Export analysis data
- Move an analysis into a different category (template group)
- Open an analysis
- Manage analysis permissions
View Analysis Properties
Analysis properties including permissions and owner appear in a table on the Analysis manangement page.
To view analysis properties, go to Analysis, then from the Analyses side panel, click Manage. The Analysis management page displays.
Tip: Configure how analyses appear in the table by doing the following:
- In Group by, select how analyses are grouped in the table. You can choose to group analyses by Section, Owner, or Shared with.
- In the Find analyses search bar, enter keywords to filter analyses displayed in the table.
Export Analysis Data
Export analysis data as a JSON file that you can use to recreate an analysis.
► To export analysis data:
- Go to Analysis, then from the Analyses side panel, click Manage. The Analysis management page displays.
- From the table, click the row for the analysis.
Tip: Use the shift or ctrl keys to select multiple rows. - On the right side panel, click Export.
Move an Analysis into a Category
Move an analysis from one category (template group) to another. You can also create new categories.
► To move an analysis into a category:
- Go to Analysis, then from the Analyses side panel, click Manage. The Analysis management page displays.
- From the table, click the row for the analysis.
- On the right side panel, click Move into section. The Move analyses modal displays.
- (Optional) To create a category, click Create, enter the name, and then click Add.
- Select the category where the analysis will be moved, and then click Move.
Open an Analysis
You can open an analysis from the Analysis management page.
► To open an analysis from the Analysis management page:
- Go to Analysis, then from the Analyses side panel, click Manage. The Analysis management page displays.
- From the table, click the row for the analysis.
- On the right side panel, click Open.
Manage Analysis Permissions
Manage which users and user groups can access an analysis and the type of access they have. When managing analysis permissions, you can:
- Manually assign an access type for all users and per user group
- Use permissions from a specific analysis
Access types include:
- No access
- Can view : Read-only access
- Can edit : Read and write access
- Can manage : Full access with rename, delete, and sharing
► To assign an access type for all users and for a user group:
- Go to Analysis, then from the Analyses side panel, click Manage. The Analysis management page displays.
- From the table, click the row for the analysis.
- On the right side panel, complete these parameters under Permissions:
- All users: Select the access type.
- Select a user group: Select a user group, and then select the access type.
► To use permissions from a specific analysis:
- From the table in the Analysis management page, click the row for the analysis to display the right side panel.
- Click Use permissions from specific Analysis. The Select an Analysis to import permissions from modal displays.
- Select an analysis to import information from.
